Sarah Zepeda-Nguyen

Licensed Clinical Social Worker #71803

After experiencing profound benefits from her own mindfulness and meditation practice developed in her teenage years, Sarah was early on an ardent believer in the mind’s ability to heal itself.

Her path to becoming a therapist began as a psychology student at the University of California, Irvine. She desired a career where she could support others in their healing process and decided to pursue a Master’s Degree in Social Work at California State University – Long Beach. She has worked extensively with individuals from marginalized communities, trauma survivors, single parents, young adults, and with family members affected by mental illness and drug/alcohol addiction.

Today, Sarah is a certified diplomat of the Academy of Cognitive Therapy specializing in the incorporation of mindfulness principles and Cognitive Behavioral techniques in the treatment of adults experiencing role transitions, loss, anxiety, depression, and histories of trauma. She is delighted to share these strategies with those on their journey to becoming their highest self.
