What to Expect

APPOINTMENTS AND FEES:

Before the first session, we’d like to have a 15-30 minute phone or in-person consultation. This meeting is free of cost and serves as a time to get to know you and answer any questions you may have. It’s important we also use this time to match you with a therapist in our group that has the availability and specialties you are seeking. If we find your needs can be met through our services and you feel one of our therapists is a good match for you, a fee will be set and sessions will begin. Typically, sessions will be 50 minutes long. However, this can depend on what we decide is best for your needs.


CANCELLATION POLICY:

Attendance is an important part of your commitment to yourself and your personal growth journey. Should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please inform your therapist 24 hours before your appointment time. If not, you will be charged the full fee for the session. The same policy applies for not showing up to your appointment, regardless of the event which prevented your attendance. With couples or families, all members must be present.


SESSION FEE:

We offer affordable services and prefer to discuss fees during our initial contact. Therapy is an investment to your health and well-being. If you have special circumstances that make it difficult to pay the standard fees, we may be able to determine a sliding-scale rate.


INSURANCE:

At this time, we accept insurance for Health Management Concepts (HMC), Healthnet MHN, Kaiser and Cigna. We also offer free therapy to victims of crime through the California Victim Compensation Board (CalVCB).

In addition, we work as an Out-Of-Network PPO provider. We’d be happy to contact your insurance to gather more information about your coverage.
