CLAUDIA REDDY

Claudia attended UCLA as an undergraduate student and holds a degree in Psychology with a minor in Applied Developmental Psychology. After 6 years working in early childhood development and seeing the value of human relationships on the developing person, she pursued a Master of Social Work degree at California State University, Los Angeles. 

 

Claudia is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has experience working with children, youth and adults. Her career in therapy has led her to work with children and families who have experienced trauma. Claudia specializes in working with early infant mental health and has received extensive training. She is certified in Child Parent-Psychotherapy (CPP), a treatment modality aimed at supporting the child-caregiver dyad move through trauma. Claudia’s training has also included Infant Massage and supports and educates parents in incorporating nurturing touch and communication in the interaction between caregiver and child. Claudia is also certified in Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) and supports caregivers in creating nurturing environments at home where thriving can take place. Claudia is pursuing certification in play therapy and utilizes play in her practice with children.  Claudia is experienced in working with school age children and adolescents utilizing creative and experiential modalities as well as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, a skilled based treatment modality to address self-harm and depression. 

 

Claudia has worked with adults who struggle with depression, anxiety, life stressors/transitions, attachment and immigration trauma. Claudia is a strength-based provider who utilizes a holistic approach to support individuals overcome challenges through use of treatment modalities including; attachment theory, psychodynamic, cognitive based approaches and mindfulness.    

 

Claudia offers therapy sessions in English and Spanish. She works with children, teens and adults. She offers individual, dyadic and family sessions.
