Supervised by Sarah Zepeda-Nguyen LCSW #71803
Jessie is currently a graduate student at University of Southern California's Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work and on a path to becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). She acquired a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from Sonoma State University. Jessie's educational background in the study of human movement, along with her experience working in physical therapy, inspired her passion for mind-body psychotherapy.
As a psychotherapist, Jessie's goal is to guide individuals to live with confidence and joy inside their bodies. Her approach focuses on helping clients build tools to better manage emotional stress, release tension stored in the body from negative life experiences, and empower clients to identify, create and value their strengths.
Jessie works with adults and couples, helping clients through different stages of life. She helps her clients process and heal from anxiety, depression, sexual dysfunction/trauma, postpartum depression, infertility, suicidal thoughts, PTSD, abuse (sexual/psychological/emotional/physical), grief, relationships, and life transitions.
Jessie’s specialized interests are in Sex Therapy, Somatic Therapy, Maternal Mental Health, and Trauma-Focused Therapy. She is trained in Motivational Interviewing, Problem-Solving Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Reaching out for support can be an overwhelming process. Jessie offers a safe space for individuals to feel free to come as they are. She will support you on your journey each step of the way.
